• No Screenshot Collection: We do not receive, store, or view any screenshots, URLs, or contextual data captured by the Extension. This data is transmitted directly from your browser to the Google Gemini API using your key.
• No Personal Identifiable Information (PII): We do not require or collect your name, email address, payment information, or any other PII to use the Extension.

2. Information We May Collect (Non-Personal)

We may collect basic, anonymized information to improve the Extension:

• Aggregate Usage Data: Non-identifiable metrics (e.g., number of times the report generation feature was triggered, overall error rates). This data is collected via standard browser analytics (if any) and is entirely anonymized.
• Crash Reports: If the Extension crashes, we may receive standard, anonymized crash reports provided by the Chrome browser platform.

3. Third-Party API Interaction (Google Gemini)

When you use the Snap2Bug Extension:

• The captured screenshot and text prompt are sent to the Google Gemini API.
• This transmission uses the API Key you provided.
• The data handling and retention practices of the content sent to the Gemini API are governed by Google’s policies. By using the Extension, you acknowledge and agree that your content is being processed by Google in accordance with their terms.
